Nom Nom Paleo + Whole30 by Michelle Tam https://nomnompaleo.com

Woo hoo! You made it to the second week of your January Whole30! If you’ve been cooking along with my daily Whole30 blog posts, I’m guessing that you’re getting the hang of this cooking thing—but you’re also wondering how you can resist the temptation to swan-dive into a plate of gooey, cheesy nachos. Well, one answer is to make Whole30 veggie dips that you can keep in the fridge!

Yes, you can still enjoy incredibly delicious dips and spreads without reaching for a bag of chips or a greasy bowl of mozzarella sticks. Just wash and cut up a bunch of vegetables, people—it’s fast and easy.

I try to always keep a bunch of colorful, ready-to-eat crudités (a.k.a., raw, cut-up vegetables) in the fridge in clear glass containers; that way, I’ll actually see them whenever I peek in. Then, when if I feel a snack attack coming on, I can just dunk ’em in one of my classic flavor boosters for a perfectly healthy Whole30- and Paleo-friendly nibble. Bonus: They make for excellent (and super-easy) appetizers, too!

If you’re struggling to eat more vegetables, having these tasty veggie dips and spreads at the ready will exponentially increase your consumption of edible plant matter. So do what your mom always told you to do, and EAT YOUR VEGETABLES—starting with:

About Michelle Tam

Hello! My name is Michelle Tam, and I love to eat. I think about food all the time. It borders on obsession. I’ve always loved the sights and smells of the kitchen. My mother was (and is) an excellent cook, and as a kid, I was her little shadow as she prepared supper each night. From her, I gained a deep, abiding love for magically transforming pantry items into mouth-watering family meals.
