Another day of eats coming your way…
While most of you were tucked snug in your beds, I was burning the midnight oil at work. I really can’t complain because it wasn’t too busy again. My chow at work was leftover roast chicken, cauliflower & carrot puree, and stir-fried pork and spigarello.
I also chugged a glass of coconut milk but that didn’t keep me from being famished in the morning. The watered down coconut milk is pissing me off.
When I got home, I fried myself a couple of eggs in butter and topped them with sliced avocado and Aleppo pepper.
I was still hungry so I inhaled a frozen Paleo Krunch bar, a few bites from a 100% cacao bar, a heaping spoonful of coconut butter, and a handful of mac nuts. I was beyond full by the time I hit the sheets. Go figure.
In the evening, I crawled out of bed and starting making dinner. I just fried up a batch of green pork and shiitake sliders…
…and that’s all we ate ‘cause I was tired, yo!
I packed my nosh for work, did a homebrewed WOD in the gym, chugged a mug of bone broth (and an espresso), and dashed off into the night.
I’m almost halfway through my workweek. Sigh.1
