Wow. My blog stats blew up today thanks to a flattering and humbling post by Chris Kresser over at The Healthy Skeptic.

If it’s your first time visiting, welcome! Please make yourself comfortable and feel free to peruse my archive and recipe index. Think I swear too much? Read this post.

Wanna see what I chowed on today?

For breakfast, I ate leftover roasted cauliflower and a hard boiled egg dusted with homemade Dukka seasoning…

…before heading over to the women’s class at CrossFit Palo Alto

Post workout, I polished off the rest of Melicious’s “Best Chicken You Will Ever Eat” and half a nuked yam.

In the afternoon, I toasted…

…and pulverized a homemade Tabil seasoning…

…while I snacked on macadamia nuts (too, too many), a pack of Grass Fed Jerky Chews, and a scrambled egg.

After we picked up Big-O from school, the kids and I hopped on a train bound for San Francisco. Fitbomb met us at the station and we drove to our besties’ house for dinner.

Our spread included grilled citrus-marinated skirt steak…

…roasted Brussels sprouts…

…and all the fixin’s to make our own lettuce tacos.

Dinner was phenomenal, as usual. I can’t wait for S, J, & M to move to the ‘burbs so we can mooch dinner more often.

About Michelle Tam

Hello! My name is Michelle Tam, and I love to eat. I think about food all the time. It borders on obsession. I’ve always loved the sights and smells of the kitchen. My mother was (and is) an excellent cook, and as a kid, I was her little shadow as she prepared supper each night. From her, I gained a deep, abiding love for magically transforming pantry items into mouth-watering family meals.
