I’m truckin’ along on my Whole30 and I gotta tell you: It’s a lot easier the second time around. I’ve felt great from the start, and the meal planning has been pretty painless. I guess I can abstain from dark chocolate and mac nuts if I really want to — which will only happen about once a year. (Mac nuts are allowed on the Whole30 but I’m abstaining because I mindlessly inhale them.)
As I was dealing drugs in the middle of the night, I gulped down some leftover Magic Wings with sautéed green beans and shiitake mushrooms…
…assorted raw veggies, and a heaping spoonful of coconut butter.
When I got home, I helped get the kids ready for school and checked on the slow cooker cheater pork stew.
It was fall-off-the-bone tender — exactly how I like it.
Since the stew was ready-to-eat, I transferred it to a storage container and put it in the fridge.
I was still hungry so I gnawed on a cold Damn Fine Chicken thigh…
…and ate half a nuked yam before stumbling to bed.
In the evening, after I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, I broiled asparagus tossed with ghee…
…nuked zucchini “spaghetti”…
…and reheated the pork stew.

By the way, who says kids don’t dig Whole30-compliant food? (Granted, this one also happily eats fat, juicy worms…)
I did one of the beginner workouts from EPLifeFit.com in the garage (somehow, I managed to snap my Buddy Lee jumprope in half while doing double-unders — weird!), and then packed my stuff for work for the last time this week. Yay!
