Nom Nom Paleo + Whole Foods in the Northeast! by Michelle Tam https://nomnompaleo.com
Spotted in NYC’s Upper East Side Whole Foods Market!

When I partnered with Whole Foods Market in the NorCal region in August to help folks go Paleo, the questions started pouring in: When would my Nom Nom Paleo Picks start popping up in other Whole Foods locations around the country? Well, I don’t know (yet!) about other parts of the U.S., but starting last week, our cartoon family has invaded all the stores in Whole Foods’ Northeast region, too!

I was going to wait to share the news, but the cat’s out of the bag already—many of you eagle-eyed Nomsters in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey have already spied our cartoon family in your neighborhood Whole Foods Markets! We previously joined forces with the Northeast region a couple of years ago, and we’re beyond ecstatic to do it again.

So what’s this collaboration look like?

Nom Nom Paleo Picks

First of all, you’ll find that the aisles of every Whole Foods store in the region are dotted with bright, yellow Nom Nom Paleo Picks signs highlighting my favorite products, from Wellshire Farms’ sugar-free bacon to Rao’s marinara sauce. Hunt for these little signs as you shop, and you’ll find it a breeze to fill your cart with nomtastic Paleo-friendly ingredients—every single one of which I’ve selected myself!

As NorCal Nomsters know, it’s hard to miss my Nom Nom Paleo Picks. Seriously: It takes a seven-foot-tall world-champion basketball player shopping in a bathrobe and a fanny pack to draw one’s attention away from Whole Foods’ sunny yellow signs with my cartoon face on ’em.
Another bonus: You can pick up a shopping list at the customer service counter, or you can download your own printable version right here!

Sadly, I’m all the way on the West Coast, so I won’t be able to spot these signs myself. So if you spy Nom Nom Paleo Picks in a store near you and post about it on Instagram or Facebook, make sure to use the hashtag #nomnompaleoXwholefoodsmarket so I can see it, too!

Book Signings!

To celebrate our return to Whole Foods in the Northeast, I’m heading back for three book signings in NYC and New Jersey in JUST TWO WEEKS! Come and meet me at the Whole Foods Market in Tribeca on Friday, October 19, Paramus on Saturday, October 20, and Millburn-Union on Sunday, October 21!

Henry is flying in on a red-eye to join me for the two New Jersey events, and we can’t wait to scribble in your copies of Ready or Not! and Nom Nom Paleo: Food For Humans. As a big favor to me, please RSVP so I know how much Nom Nom Paleo swag to ship cross-country. (Shipping ain’t cheap, people!) Get all the details and RSVP to these free events on my Events page here!

Magic Mushroom Powder

The demand for my tins of Magic Mushroom Powder has been nothing short of amazing. The initial batch sold out in a flash, but don’t fret: My favorite seasoning salt should now be back in stock in Whole Foods’ NorCal and Reno locations.

Of course, that still leaves the rest of the country! We’re working with Whole Foods to determine if we can scale up production and get it distributed to more regions—but in the meantime, shoppers in the Northeast will also be able to find my cute little tins of Magic Mushroom Powder in Whole Foods Market locations starting in November. If you live in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, keep your eyes peeled…

About Michelle Tam

Hello! My name is Michelle Tam, and I love to eat. I think about food all the time. It borders on obsession. I’ve always loved the sights and smells of the kitchen. My mother was (and is) an excellent cook, and as a kid, I was her little shadow as she prepared supper each night. From her, I gained a deep, abiding love for magically transforming pantry items into mouth-watering family meals.
