Today I didn’t do any creative cooking – I just got grub on the table as quickly as possible. It was just one of those days…

For breakfast, I nuked a slice of leftover frittata and topped it with some sliced avocado. I ate it with a big ass pile of leftover nuked frozen green beans.

After my class at CrossFit Palo Alto, I ate my post workout meal: steamed chestnuts and sous vide chicken breast.

At lunchtime, I nuked some leftover slow cooker pork pot roast and garlic cauliflower mashed potatoes

…and ate some leftover bacon-y deviled egg filling with sliced cucumbers and bell peppers.

I gotta get this recipe from my sister – it’s awesome.

You’d think I’d be stuffed after eating my lunch but I still ate some mac nuts and coconut flakes to make sure I was ker-azy full.

At dinnertime, I pulled out some pork and wild boar sausages I picked up at the Mountain View Farmers’ market and fried them up.

To accompany the swine-y logs, I stir-fried some chard and spinach with sliced shallots in ghee…

…and roasted some cremini mushrooms tossed with Sunny Paris seasoning and avocado oil in the toaster oven.

Here’s my dinner plate:

Good night!

About Michelle Tam

Hello! My name is Michelle Tam, and I love to eat. I think about food all the time. It borders on obsession. I’ve always loved the sights and smells of the kitchen. My mother was (and is) an excellent cook, and as a kid, I was her little shadow as she prepared supper each night. From her, I gained a deep, abiding love for magically transforming pantry items into mouth-watering family meals.
