Howdy, Nomsters! I already announced these two events to my newsletter subscribers, but for those of you who haven’t signed up for my email mash notes, I have two awesome gigs coming up in San Francisco!

Upcoming San Francisco Events by Michelle Tam https://nomnompaleo.com

First up: I’ll be doing a panel discussion with Dr. Akil Palanisamy on the health aspects of the Paleo diet on February 10th at the San Francisco Jewish Community Center from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Dr. Palanisamy’s eye-opening new book, The Paleovedic Diet, details a customizable and actionable roadmap to optimal health that combines the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, traditional western medicine, and ancestral health. The guy’s a straight-up brainiac (he studied and trained at Harvard, UCSF, and Stanford), and he knows his stuff. I learned a ton after reading his book and implementing many of his suggestions (like cooking with more spices and meditating daily). There’ll be a reception (featuring Paleo grub!) starting at 6 p.m., and a lecture and Q & A beginning at 6:30 p.m. The doc and I will also be selling and signing our books at the event. Plus, the event is FREE! Register here and be there! (Or be square. It’s your choice.)

Then, on February 27th, I’ll be popping up at my alma mater, the University of California at San Francisco! I’ve been invited to speak at the IHH-UCSF Symposium on The Paleo Approach and Evolutionary Medicine, along with Dr. Akil Palanisamy, Chris Kresser, Robb Wolf, Dr. Chris Masterjohn, Dr. Justin Sonnenburg, and Dr. Stephan Guyenet. Pretty impressive lineup, right? Learn more about the Symposium and sign up here!

And remember: you can keep up-to-date on all my future events by signing up for my free email newsletter!

Hope to see you guys at one (or both) of these events!

About Michelle Tam

Hello! My name is Michelle Tam, and I love to eat. I think about food all the time. It borders on obsession. I’ve always loved the sights and smells of the kitchen. My mother was (and is) an excellent cook, and as a kid, I was her little shadow as she prepared supper each night. From her, I gained a deep, abiding love for magically transforming pantry items into mouth-watering family meals.
