Two hands holding out a copy of the Nom Nom Paleo: Let's Go! cookbook by Michelle Tam and Henry Fong

It’s been a few weeks since Nom Nom Paleo: Let’s Go! finally hit bookshelves, but my crazy book promotion schedule has kept me from writing an actual blog post about how thrilled we are to share our labor of love with you!

As longtime Nomsters know, Henry and I spend years pouring our blood, sweat, and tears into each of our cookbooks, so it’s been incredibly exciting and gratifying to finally see readers cooking out of Let’s Go! I want to extend the biggest of thanks to everyone who has made dishes out of our new cookbook and tagged me on social media so I can see your nomtastic creations.

Here are just a few of the amazing Let’s Go! dishes that readers have created and shared online:

Press mentions!

With the launch of Nom Nom Paleo: Let’s Go!, we’ve been fortunate to get lots of great mentions in the media. We were surprised and delighted to get a starred review in Publisher’s Weekly—one of the most prestigious designations in the book industry. This review nicely sums up what we hoped to accomplish with our cookbook—we definitely feel seen!

I’m also particularly proud of the write-ups in The San Jose Mercury News (my hometown paper!), Bloomberg, and The Washington Post. In addition, I got to do some fun TV and podcast appearances, including this one with Connecticut Public Radio’s Seasoned. If you want to read some of the press mentions or watch our recent TV appearances, check out my media page!

Tell your friends about the book!

Positive press is awesome, but the number one way folks find out about our cookbook is by word of mouth. That’s where you come in!

If you love our cookbook, please tell your friends, family, colleagues, and loved ones. We’re counting on grassroots sharing and positive word-of-mouth to help spread the news about our new book—especially given that we’re still in the middle of a pandemic and unable to do as many in-person book launch events as I’d originally planned. (As you might have seen, a number of my in-person book events were cancelled—either due to Omicron or bad weather—so I’m counting on those of you who love Let’s Go! to tell others about it!

About Michelle Tam

Hello! My name is Michelle Tam, and I love to eat. I think about food all the time. It borders on obsession. I’ve always loved the sights and smells of the kitchen. My mother was (and is) an excellent cook, and as a kid, I was her little shadow as she prepared supper each night. From her, I gained a deep, abiding love for magically transforming pantry items into mouth-watering family meals.
