Welcome to the Nom Nom Paleo monthly cooking challenge—a culinary adventure designed to get you excited to get in the kitchen!

A cartoon Michelle Tam is announcing the January 2024 cooking challenge.

Once a month, I’ll feature three recipes that you can choose from. Pick ONE of the recipes, cook it, take a photo of it, submit it, and you might win a prize! I bet you were gonna cook one of these recipes anyways!

Congrats to Evamarie B! We contacted her and sent the gift card.

How to participate!

A cartoon Michelle Tam is telling folks to cook one of the January cooking challenge recipes (Instant Pot Kalua Pig, Mojo Chicken or All-Purpose Stir-Fry Sauce) and take a picture of the dish.

About Michelle Tam

Hello! My name is Michelle Tam, and I love to eat. I think about food all the time. It borders on obsession. I’ve always loved the sights and smells of the kitchen. My mother was (and is) an excellent cook, and as a kid, I was her little shadow as she prepared supper each night. From her, I gained a deep, abiding love for magically transforming pantry items into mouth-watering family meals.

  1. Love your books and all things nom nom paleo. I have been eating whole 30 and clean for 8 years. Your recipes spice up my life and are my comfort foods. I have so enjoyed learning new cooking methods, spices and wow what flavors. Who knew fish sauce would be one of my staples.
