Happy Friday to y’all!

This morning, I didn’t eat a well thought out Paleo breakfast because we were scrambling to leave the hotel on time. I didn’t fast –  I just nibbled on some bacon I fried for the boys, a handful of macadamia nuts, and a few strawberries.

After I dropped Big-O at school, Lil-O and I headed back to our dusty house to wash loads of laundry.

At lunchtime, I fried myself a Julia Child-inspired Thai Rolled Omelet.

In the afternoon, I picked up Big-O from school and drove the boys over to the East Bay to celebrate their cousin Lil-L’s 4th birthday.

Since hubby’s cousins are Paleo, the spread was meat, meat, meat, veggies, fruit, and a gluten-free birthday cake. Whee!

While the kids had a blast at the pool, I stuffed my face from the sidelines.

Happy Birthday, Lil-L!

About Michelle Tam

Hello! My name is Michelle Tam, and I love to eat. I think about food all the time. It borders on obsession. I’ve always loved the sights and smells of the kitchen. My mother was (and is) an excellent cook, and as a kid, I was her little shadow as she prepared supper each night. From her, I gained a deep, abiding love for magically transforming pantry items into mouth-watering family meals.
