I had a pound of ground grass fed beef thawed in the fridge, but I wasn’t sure what I was gonna do with it. I was craving something kebab-y but easy. So I came up with these Tabil seasoned broiled mini patties.
Preheat your broiler and make sure the top rack is about 5 inches from the heating element. Next, line a baking sheet with heavy duty aluminum foil and grease well with coconut oil (or just line with parchment paper).
Place the ground meat in a medium sized bowl. Blitz the shallots in your food processor. Add the shallots, minced garlic, Tabil seasoning, and salt to the ground meat. Use your hands to mix everything well.
Form the meat into patties, making sure they’re less than an inch thick. Place the patties on the baking sheet.
Stick the pan of patties in the broiler. Broil on one side for 4 minutes, then flip over and broil for another 2 minutes or cooked through. It might make your kitchen smoke up, so keep your windows open! Serve the patties with some roasted veggies and a dollop of lebneh.
