Yay! It’s my hump day! I only have to toil for three more nights before I’m off for another week.

My first meal at work was the same as the night before: leftover easy Rogan Josh, garlic cauliflower mashed potatoes, and nuked sugar snap peas.

A few hours later I snacked on some strawberries and coconut milk.

The last meal I ate at work was full of broccoli goodness: nuked frozen broccoli and ground pork and grass fed beef stir-fried with broccoli slaw.

After work, I came home and sous vided some chicken thighs and then I took a quick trip to the Mountain View Farmers’ market. I met up with my market partner-in-crime, Fit Daffy, and I picked up some strawberries, veggies, strawberry Scream sorbet (Easter treat for the kids), and my last two bunches of free asparagus. Sniff. It was nice while it lasted.

When I returned home, I iced the thighs and put them in the fridge. Before I got some shuteye, I asked hubby to drop the pre-marinated bunny legs into the SousVide Supreme at 4:00 p.m. (150 F for 90 minutes).

When I woke up, I started preparing our bunny feast. I was excited about dinner because the 4505 Easter CSA basket looked so damn yummy and my sister, her hubby, and my parents were coming for dinner. There’s nothing like eating bunny five ways on Easter with people you love.

Here’s our Easter spread…

Super yummy Easter dinner!

About Michelle Tam

Hello! My name is Michelle Tam, and I love to eat. I think about food all the time. It borders on obsession. I’ve always loved the sights and smells of the kitchen. My mother was (and is) an excellent cook, and as a kid, I was her little shadow as she prepared supper each night. From her, I gained a deep, abiding love for magically transforming pantry items into mouth-watering family meals.
