Wow! Henry and I were tickled pink this morning after reading The Kitchn’s wonderful review of the Nom Nom Paleo iPad cooking app. More than anything, we truly appreciate that Emma, the reviewer, took the time to explore every little feature that we lovingly and painstakingly crammed into the app – many of which are impossible with a physical cookbook.

Our little techno-baby celebrates its one year birthday(!) in the App Store tomorrow, and we continue to be astonished every day by its success. Twelve months after the launch, our app is still number 2 in the Food & Drink category! (**Shakes fist at Food Network**)
The app development road has been a bumpy one for us newbie app developers, and between managing crises and responding to daily feedback that streams in from our tens of thousands(!) of users, our hands have been full. But due to all your ardent support and evangelism, the Nom Nom Paleo app has turned into The Little App That Could. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! p.s. To pre-emptively answer the most-asked question about the app: No, we do not currently have an Android, iPhone, or Windows version of the app in the works…yet. Why? The answer’s in our app FAQ.
p.p.s. Yes, we plan on updating the app in the future with new recipes.
p.p.p.s. We’ve been cranking like crazy on a couple of new yet-to-be-revealed projects, and they won’t require the use of any Apple products.
