While my readers in North America were sleeping, I worked like a busy bee at the hospital and chowed on organic deli chicken with crudites, a large square of Pralus 100% cacao, and leftover farmer’s pie.

When I got home from work, I played with the boys before going to bed. I’m sad that I slept through Big-O’s graduation to a green belt in wushu…

…an egg-y brunch…

…and lots of other fun shenanigans. It definitely sucks to work every other weekend.

When I woke up in the evening, I stuffed and broiled the fresh sardines that Fitbomb picked up in our weekly Siren SeaSA haul….

…pan-seared a tray of Padron peppers from Mariquita Farm…

…and choppped up a few heirloom tomatoes.

Here’s my dinner plate:

The broiled herb-stuffed sardines were so easy to make and yummy to boot!

Not only did we fill up on omega-3’s, but we also got a nice dose of calcium from eating all the bones!

About Michelle Tam

Hello! My name is Michelle Tam, and I love to eat. I think about food all the time. It borders on obsession. I’ve always loved the sights and smells of the kitchen. My mother was (and is) an excellent cook, and as a kid, I was her little shadow as she prepared supper each night. From her, I gained a deep, abiding love for magically transforming pantry items into mouth-watering family meals.
